Hi everyone!!
A friend of mine has told me about this free day out in Victoria Park, Portsmouth. It is the park right by the train station/ commercial road. I use it quite a lot in the summer anyway as it has a great play park for the kids and loads of room to run around. Plus it has averies and rabbitts etc..
Anyway, on Saturday 25th June they have a free summer fair there to promote awareness for being Green!!
Pedal-powered and solar stage with live entertainment throughout the day with local bands and DJs
Around 100 stalls: crafts and eco-gifts, plants, money saving tips, green fashion, wildlife conservation, campaigns, energy saving
Street entertainers, a Green Motor show, a therapy area, poets, swing dancers, get fit
Art displays and demonstrations of green crafts and technology like bushcraft skills and building a cob oven
Lots of action for children: games, rides, art and crafts, face painting, circus skills, hula hoops, story-tellers, bouncy castle, solar challenge, parade, competitions
Lots of food and drink stalls selling local, organic & homegrown food. CafĂ©-bar and gallery – have a picnic
Free fun for all the family.
I will be going for sure so see you all there!!!
